SEE BEYOND PROMOTION EVENT
On December 6, Magenta hosted a special event to showcase the results of the SEE BEYOND project, an Erasmus+ initiative dedicated to improving access to education for visually impaired students. Organized by Young Effect Association, the event provided a unique opportunity to present the project’s achievements and introduce the innovative Vision Assist platform.
At the event, the Vision Assist platform (www.visionassist.eu) was officially introduced as a cornerstone of the project. The platform offers:
Access to a virtual library with adapted educational materials;
Consultation services for families of visually impaired students;
Digital tools to enhance the learning experience of students.
With its user-friendly and multilingual interface, Vision Assist aims to reach a broad audience and meet the diverse needs of its users.
The event in Magenta brought together educators, families, students, and local stakeholders. Attendees were given a live demonstration of the Vision Assist platform’s features, followed by hands-on training sessions to explore its potential.
Young Effect Association shared insights gathered during the project’s implementation and emphasized the importance of international collaboration in tackling the challenges of inclusive education
SEE BEYOND has proven that through European cooperation, innovative tools can be developed to overcome educational barriers. Moving forward, the aim is to expand the reach of the Vision Assist platform and share the adapted materials with schools and educational institutions across Europe.
The success of SEE BEYOND was made possible through the collaboration of international partners:
Creative Center – Plovdiv, Bulgaria
Regional Center for Support of the Processes of General Education – Plovdiv, Bulgaria
Asociația “Tinerii 3D” – Craiova, Romania
This international network has laid the groundwork for a more accessible and inclusive future in education.
