TC “Connect and Engage: Digital Tools for Youth Inclusion”
Erasmus+ project “Connect and Engage: Digital Tools for Youth Inclusion”
From December 3–9, 2024, our two participants, traveled to the beautiful village of Varbovo, Bulgaria, to join youth workers and young professionals from seven countries: Bulgaria, Türkiye, Moldova, Albania, Armenia, and Georgia. Together, we explored innovative ways to empower marginalized youth using digital tools.
Here’s what they shared about their experience:
"This project wasn’t just about learning—it was about connecting. We gained practical tools for working with vulnerable youth, like creating virtual inclusion spaces and thinking critically about digital ethics. But the most valuable part was the people—we made friendships and partnerships that will last far beyond this week."
Highlights they loved:
Hands-on workshops on digital platforms and creative tools.
Unique visits to Chuprene Municipality and the Europe Direct office in Vidin.
Taking part in a Forum Theatre workshop and even recording a podcast!
Organizing public campaigns in Belogradchik and Vidin.
And of course, the cultural evenings were unforgettable: our partecipant shared Italian traditions (and a taste of Italy!), while learning so much about the diverse cultures of the other participants.
We are so grateful to the Bulgarian Youth Forum for hosting such a meaningful and well-organized event, and to all the amazing partner organizations for their collaboration.
This project has inspired us to continue working towards a more inclusive and connected future for young people.
