SOFT SKILLS AND EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE IN SCHOOL EDUCATION

Transforming Classrooms: Our July Training Boosts Soft Skills and Emotional Intelligence for Bulgarian Teachers

In July 2023, Young Effect APS had the pleasure of hosting an impactful training program for seven Bulgarian educators, as part of the Erasmus+ project “Soft Skills and Emotions: Good Practices for Successful Teaching.” This specialized course was designed to improve the participants' teaching methods by focusing on developing crucial soft skills and emotional intelligence.

With over a decade of experience in organizing and delivering professional development across Europe, Young Effect APS is well-versed in meeting the unique needs of adult learners. The training featured a blend of interactive workshops and practical activities aimed at strengthening key areas such as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. Through real-life scenario simulations, educators had the opportunity to apply their new skills in a supportive and dynamic setting.

A standout feature of the program was the collaborative sessions where the Bulgarian teachers shared their own classroom experiences and strategies. This exchange of ideas not only enriched the learning experience but also fostered a sense of camaraderie among participants, sparking innovative approaches to teaching.

Our commitment to the Erasmus+ project extended beyond just hosting the training. We documented the process and results to showcase the progress and achievements of the participants. This effort was intended to inspire more educators to embrace the benefits of integrating soft skills and emotional intelligence into their teaching practices.

As we conclude this successful training initiative, Young Effect APS remains dedicated to improved educational practices and supporting the professional growth of educators. We look forward to further collaborations and continuing to contribute to a more compassionate and effective educational landscape.
